Who we are… and are not
As mentioned, we are not a political party and we are not trying to be. We are also not a middle-ground, hoping for the return to status-quo wealth disparity, country debt, and unchecked corporate power. We are a coalition for change-making and status quo-breaking. Our aim is to unite people from different backgrounds who understand change is needed both in creating a true free market in certain areas combined with a Government that works for the people, especially the vulnerable communities among us.
With the Republican party taken over by Maga, and the Democratic party in disarray, the solution CANNOT be to turn again to the failed establishment, status-quo Democrats. There is an opportunity to reform and rebuild the party around the actual ideals of progress. Now is the time to develop that strategy which will actually promote change and power to the people.
Insight Into Current Party Positioning
As The Chart Shows…
Sometimes the Free Market works, sometimes Government works - but we cannot even begin that discussion while Maga is stripping away citizen’s freedom and benefits and Democrats will seemingly not fight for anyone that does not donate $10M to their campaign. The chart illustrates the illusion of choice we have been given for years and provides insight into how we can re-wire our thinking to see party, issues, and strategy. You may think the vertical axis is not to scale but this is part of the shocking truth as the top 2% of people in America control around 50% of the wealth.
Maga has taken over the Republican party and lined the pockets of the wealthy, hurt working people, and started stripping away people’s rights in a slide towards fascism. Democrats have done so little for decades while, themselves, being in the pockets of big business that we accelerated the slide into corporatism and crony capitalism. The parties have shifted, morphed, left members voiceless and it’s now time to retrain our brain to look at issues in terms of people.
Our Mission…
Is not focused on holding traditional protests. But to be clear, protests ARE needed right now to stop the current slide into fascism - there is no doubt Maga continues to make dangerous moves in the executive and legislative branches, endangering the future of the US. And there are amazing organizers and groups that frankly do it much better than we ever could - we will link some in our news section. But we are looking farther ahead to the strategy and the re-build afterwards to not only keep this country together, but move it forward. Magas are breakers, but we will be builders.
We are focused on creating a viable, long-term strategy for a reformed Democratic party that reflects the working parties of former Republicans and Democrats, because right now - there is no home for any of us.
